"ONCE UPON A TIME"
A bridal book just made for a special bride. The 8x8 acrylic book has a beautiful swirl through the front cover. The acrylic comes plain and the laser cuts the swirl in, I think. I made this book for Want 2 Scrap.
The book was made to be understated and the photos of the bride and groom add the beauty and dimension to this book. There are lots of places for the photos and journaling. The book is big enough for those very special photos that we like to look at over and over again. The album can be displayed on a mantle or table and shown to friends and family when they come to visit.

BROTHER
Acrylic Scrapbook

5 page acrylic book. Each page is a different size and shape. You can mix and match each page and add them wherever you want. You can see how I decorated each page and the placement. With the subject of "brother" I wanted to change it up a bit and add a bit of interest. In this book there are many photo mats for photos and/or journaling. The star on the second page dangles. The star on the front of the book has a "B" which stands for brother.

The paper is Rusty Pickle. It is rather masculine and fits the theme perfectly. This book can be purchase as a kit from Want 2 Scrap. I have many more books I will be posting that I am making and have made. Stay tuned, it gets interesting!

Have a great day and try something new today. Happy "scrappin".

ME AND MICKEY
A sweet book just waiting for lots of Disney Memories. There are pull tags, double mats, booklets that open up to make even more space for photos. There is also lots of room for you to add special tickets, maps, or embellishments that you get right at the Disney store. I left room for that purpose. You will love working with the laser cut chipboard. It is very nicely detailed and so smooth. Very nice.
This book can be purchased from want2scrap.com. In a few weeks you will be able to buy the whole kit and make one just like it. I know you will love it as much as I did creating it. Just let your mind wander and think how great it was to be a KID for that special day. WOW, I wish I was there now.
I haven't been blogging too much, I have been creating albums for Want 2 Scrap. I just love it and it is stretching my imagination and love for my craft.
Thanks for checking in and try something new today. Happy scrappin'.

"AAAArrrrrrgg"
A skull and crossbones. A definite departure from the ordinary for me. The above book was created for Want 2 Scrap. It is an acrylic book and of course comes very clean and see through. What to do with this subject. I then just let each page create itself. The first thing to do was to dirty it up and make it look old. The mixture of paints did just that. Added a bandanna, eye patch, and outlined no teeth. Every page is painted to match the cover and then the papers were added. Lots of ripping and tearing, inking, scraping and digging. Hopefully I created a pirate book that even "Captain Jack" would like.
The paper was by Rusty Pickle and the whole kit can soon be purchased from the website of Want 2 Scrap. Just click on my favorites on the right and it will lead you right to the site.
Have a wonderful LABOR DAY! Everyone be safe and all our friends in the south around New Orleans, we pray for you and yours. Be safe.
Try something new today and happy "scrappin".
