MARDI GRAS PAPER BAG ALBUM
A colorful, beautiful, and almost all handmade Mardi Gras album. The papers used are handmade and purchased in New Orleans from their premier scrapbook store - Scrappersaurus -. The mask on the cover is all handmade and put together. This roomy book boasts of coins, feathers, fibers, beads and many embellishments made special for Mardi Gras by popular companies. The 2 large pockets have lots of room for souvenirs, tickets and any other items you want to save.
I listed this book on eBay this week and the auction will be over tomorrow. I know it is worth the asking price as many of the items are completely handmade and/or bought special for this book.
Enjoy looking and happy scrappin'.

VALENTINE CARD
Our latest task for the Lime Light Design Team was to make cards to be auctioned off. We are contributing to the purchase of playground equipment for children. All the money we raise at the auction will go for just that purpose.
The cards were a lot of fun. I will be posting them here from time to time. Everyone is going from very fancy to just fancy. I look forward to finishing mine and sending them off for auction. As far as I know this will be the first time anything that I have created has been auctioned off. Definitely a lot of fun.
Have a great day and try something new today. Happy scrappin'.

SWEETHEART

A simple but sweet Valentine's Day card. I decorated the envelope and used my Cricut to cut out the squiggle heart on the front of the card. Inside I made a pop out. When you open up the card the heart in the center pops out. Real cute and oh so easy to make. The pattern for the pop out I found on www.robertsabuda.com . This website has a lot of great ideas for pop up books and/or cards. Lots of fun to make and simple to put together.
Thanks for checking in today and happy scrappin'.

BABY BOY ACRYLIC PANTS BOOK
The above book is so cute and darling, every baby boy needs one. Really, it was a joy to work on this book and bring to life a sweet tribute to a special baby boy. The cover outlines the pant shaped book with sleeves. The large buttons bring attention to the "boyishness" of the book. There are just enough embellishments added to stand out and bring attention to a very nice book.
The paper is nicely coordinated and very colorful. Ribbons and flowers have been added for interest.
The book was made for Want 2 Scrap (www.want2scrap.com) and you can purchase the kit on their website. I will be coming out with a number of new books and take your time to look at them.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I will be blogging more often now. The last 2 months have been extremely busy with not only holidays but a lot of necessary traveling.
Remember to try something new today and happy scrappin'.
