It is my pleasure to bring to you a blog site full of ideas, projects and techniques. Please take your time to go through it. You are more than welcome to use my ideas for your own personal use. I do ask that you do not use my ideas for submissions to contests, publications or to sell. I would love to see any ideas of mine created by you. I will be more than pleased to display them here on my blog. Please be aware that some of my acrylic books have been copyrighted and cannot be copied.

"AAAArrrrrrgg"
A skull and crossbones. A definite departure from the ordinary for me. The above book was created for Want 2 Scrap. It is an acrylic book and of course comes very clean and see through. What to do with this subject. I then just let each page create itself. The first thing to do was to dirty it up and make it look old. The mixture of paints did just that. Added a bandanna, eye patch, and outlined no teeth. Every page is painted to match the cover and then the papers were added. Lots of ripping and tearing, inking, scraping and digging. Hopefully I created a pirate book that even "Captain Jack" would like.
The paper was by Rusty Pickle and the whole kit can soon be purchased from the website of Want 2 Scrap. Just click on my favorites on the right and it will lead you right to the site.
Have a wonderful LABOR DAY! Everyone be safe and all our friends in the south around New Orleans, we pray for you and yours. Be safe.
Try something new today and happy "scrappin".
