It is my pleasure to bring to you a blog site full of ideas, projects and techniques. Please take your time to go through it. You are more than welcome to use my ideas for your own personal use. I do ask that you do not use my ideas for submissions to contests, publications or to sell. I would love to see any ideas of mine created by you. Made for Want 2 Scrap
About 2 weeks ago I mentioned on my site that I was going to design for a company called Want 2 Scrap. My first project is above. When the hydrant came to me it was the non color of chipboard. I then painted it bright red, lipstick red. Is there any other color you can paint a hydrant? I then went page by page and decorated it with the papers and embellishments from the kit that was sent. Everything I needed for this project was in the kit with the exception of the paint. I was amazed that I did not have to add anything else.
If you do choose to do a book like this for a firefighter you know, you can hang from the rings little mementos such as a key, badge or other item that is small.
This book is a wonderful way to pay respect and regards to the many local heroes we have in our midst and personally know. Try one, you will like it and the recipient will love it!
Try something new today and happy scrappin'.
